Rates and conditions
CGP's asset managers manage their own assets within the company and under the same conditions as their customers. Our goal is to create a long term relationship with our customers. This relationship is possible with competitive rates and full transparency.
Transparency
In asset management transparency is not an empty word. Customers often focus on paying low management fees while they are charged other fees like: brokerage fees, transaction fees, subscription fees... At the end customers often pay a multiple of the initial management fees.
At CGP we propose two different of rates
The first rate charges an annual management fee of 0.3%. In this case, we also perceive kickbacks from the funds we invested with, kickbacks from transaction fees and subscription fees.
To ensure full transparency we have decided to offer a second 'all in' rate. This ‘all in’ rate charges higher management fees than the first one: 0.75% per year. But in return for the higher commissions we refund all fees received due to the customer’s investments. This approach ensures full alignment of interests because we have no financial interest in proposing a fund rather than another or to favor a custodian bank.
Funds managed by the CGP (Hector – CGP Patrimonia and Ingenium – CGP Global Flexible) operate on the same principle of transparency; our only compensation for the management of funds comes from our management fees. When we receive kickbacks from the funds we invested with, these kickbacks are directly transferred into the fund.
At CGP we do not charge double management fees, when we invest a client’s asset in one of our funds no management fee is levied on his investments.
At CGP we do not take any performance fee. These fees often bring managers to raise the level of risk. Our main objective is to preserve our customer's assets.
Transaction fees, custodial fees, fees for cashing dividend,...
Transaction fees, custody and other charges may be levied by the depository bank. The conditions vary from one bank to another. Upon request we communicate the conditions of the various custodians.
