About la Compagnie de gestion Privée
Established in 1996, CGP (Compagnie de Gestion Privée) is an investment management company registered with the FSMA (ex CBFA) in Belgium. We describe ourselves as a firm offering tailor made services. We are completely independent and not bound to any industrial or financial group whatsoever, this gives us the freedom to choose the most suitable investments instruments for each client.
Our philosophy is to deliver absolute return to our clients. Our investment process is based on diversity and flexibility. We invest in a wide variety of products (stocks, bonds, trackers, funds, derivatives and futures) in various sectors and geographical areas (diversity). We do not believe that always being fully invested is wise. Inevitably markets do correct. Our mandate allows us to reduce market exposure when deemed necessary and even profit from declining markets (flexibility).
We manage individual portfolios as well as two funds: Hector - CGP Patrimonia and Ingenium - CGP Global Flexible. Our clients' accounts are deposited in financial institution which are independant from CGP. Depending on their assets, management style or preferences, our customers can chose between five different financial institutions.
